Collection, transport and placement
A HIAB lorry combines a flatbed with an on-board crane. It can help when a load needs lifting onto the vehicle at collection, unloading at delivery, or placing in a particular position. Barton & Sons is based in Spalding, Lincolnshire, and discusses jobs across the UK.
Planning your lift
Send the load dimensions and weight, together with any available lifting-point information. Explain how close the vehicle can get to the load and its final position. Photos of entrances, ground conditions and the placement area help us understand the job. Lifting suitability depends on the load and the working position; we confirm the approach for each enquiry.
What to include in your enquiry
Include collection and delivery postcodes, a preferred date, the item description and any access restrictions. Tell us whether lifting is needed at one or both ends. If you are unsure about weight or dimensions, say what information you have so we can discuss what is needed before confirming the move.
